Salad or Fruit bowl.
This is a larger bowl turned from Sycamore, slightly spalted.
It is decorated with a rim and some line carving which works quite well giving the bowl the little extra touch.
Larger bowls like this are one-off items and take a good while to turn on the pole-lathe. They make excellent salad or fruit bowls that will sit beautifully as a centre piece on any table.
This one is 9 cm deep 27cm wide. 3 1/2 x 10 1/2 in. It will hold a lot of salad or fruit. Perfect for giving as a house warming or as a wedding present. This one is quite light weigth for its size and has a real nice feel to it. Names and dates can be phyrographed onto the bowl.
